Being prepared for your interview involves many tasks. Having good questions to ask the interviewer is important as well. Try to show that you have listened to the interviewer and ask a relevant question that reflects this. At first interview don't ask about holiday, pay or other benefits. This will come later. Other questions to avoid include topics such as possibilities of working from home or in fact anything that might reflect badly on you.
When you are reaching the end of the interview you have one last chance to impress. There is a great tactic for reinforcing your strengths in the mind of the interviewer.
Of course, first impressions are vital and you need to be a reasonable fit for the role but if you follow this piece of advice you will bring to the forefront of the interviewer's mind the reasons you are so good for the job.
Ask the interviewer the following as your last question: "If you were to give me the job, why do you think I would be a good fit?"
This gives the interviewer a chance to reflect on your positive qualities and to rehearse the reasons they will give to HR for seeing this great candidate again.
